As the sky slowly blends with the sea and the town is wrapped in the stillness of evening, Portorož transforms into a stage for something truly unique. On 16 August, the pier – usually a space for walkers and waves – becomes the setting for an experience that combines
gastronomy, emotion, and symbolism.
Obsession Red is not just a dinner – it’s a story written in five courses, paired wines, and an atmosphere that can only be felt by the sea, beneath the stars.
Unforgettable flavours will be crafted by Filip Matjaž, Michelin-starred chef of COB, and Kristian Zule, a young and talented chef from Stara Gostilna – Vecchia Osteria in Piran. Each dish will unfold like a rose petal – delicately revealed, carefully composed, and tied to the red thread of the evening. Red takes centre stage – a symbol of inner strength, love, passion, and the pursuit of the extraordinary.
Dinner begins: 8 PM.
The pier will be closed to the public.
