The Culinary Promenade is a day-to-night seaside event in Portorož & Piran, bringing together local chefs, winemakers and other vendors who present a diverse selection of food and drinks at stalls along the promenade.
The event combines the flavours of Istria with contemporary culinary approaches and relaxed seaside socialising. It is a culinary experience that showcases the destination through its food, people and atmosphere.
On 14 and 15 August 2026, the event will take place from 5 pm to 1 am at the Square of Overseas Brigades – the plaza in Portorož – as part of Portorož Nights. Once again, visitors can look forward to a diverse culinary offering that blends local flavours, contemporary interpretations and the lively atmosphere of summer by the sea.
Following the success of July’s Culinary Promenade, the charity initiative will continue in August. By serving pancakes for charity, we will once again raise funds—this time for Zavod Lunina vila, which provides psychosocial and psychotherapeutic support to children and adolescents who have experienced violence or abuse.
