The organisers encourage participants, partners and visitors to stay longer in the Portorož & Piran destination, explore the local offer, visit attractions and contribute to the sustainable development of the local community and economy.

After the event, we will collect feedback from participants, partners and local residents regarding overall satisfaction and the sustainability aspects of Portoroz Nights. The insights gathered will be taken into account when planning and organising future events. The organisers of Portoroz Nights are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment, where all visitors, performers, employees and volunteers are treated equally and with dignity.

At the event, we do not tolerate any form of harassment, violence, discrimination or exploitation, whether commercial, sexual or otherwise.
All participants have the right to a pleasant and safe experience, regardless of gender, age, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, appearance, beliefs or any other personal circumstance.

At Portoroz Nights, there is zero tolerance for:

• physical, verbal, psychological or sexual violence,
• racist, sexist, hateful or offensive comments,
• abuse of power, position or influence,
• theft or intentional damage to property.

The organisers ensure:

• equal opportunities for employment and volunteering,
• compliance with local legislation and labour rights,
• a ban on employing minors,
• ethical and responsible cooperation with all partners and performers.

In the event of inappropriate behaviour or if anyone feels unsafe, you may contact the event organisers or security staff, who will:

• ensure a safe and supportive environment,
• take action to prevent further violations,
• provide assistance, if necessary, in reporting the incident to the relevant authorities.

Portoroz Nights are a space for socialising, music and joy. A safe and respectful environment is created together, through the responsible behaviour of each individual – for the well-being of all and for the reputation of the Portorož & Piran destination.

In organising Portoroz Nights, we place special emphasis on reducing waste and using resources responsibly. At the event venue, separate waste collection will be provided, with a sufficient number of clearly marked bins.

During the event, single-use plastics are not used. Instead, we use durable plastic stemmed cups with a deposit system, which encourages reuse and significantly reduces packaging waste.

The organisers also ensure the reuse of tablecloths and stall decorations, which are designed without year markings and used over multiple editions of the event.

Through these measures, we aim to reduce the environmental footprint of the event and contribute to more sustainable Portoroz Nights.

The organisers of Portoroz Nights are committed to actively involving the local community and strengthening cooperation with the environment in which the event takes place. Whenever possible and appropriate, priority is given to local providers and residents of the destination.

Local food and beverage providers

• When applying for food and drink stalls, priority is given to local providers, especially those already operating within the destination.
• We further encourage providers of traditional Istrian dishes as well as long-standing participants who regularly take part in the festival.

In this way, we preserve the authenticity of the event and support the local economy.
