Portorož, 2 July 2026: A culinary event in the centre of Portorož will bring together cuisine, music and charity on 11 July. Among the highlights will be charity pancakes, prepared by well-known Slovenian women Ana Roš, Zala Djurić and Tara Zupančič together with Piran scouts and local chefs.
Trg prekomorskih brigad in Portorož will come alive on Saturday, 11 July, from 17:00 to 1:00 with the Culinary Promenade – a relaxed summer event bringing visitors together over good food, music, a children’s programme and charity.
The event will offer a pleasant seaside gathering for all generations. Visitors will be able to stroll among culinary stands, taste a variety of food and drinks, and continue the evening with music by DJ Funk Affair. At 18:00, the youngest visitors can enjoy a children’s performance by Teater Cizamo.
This year’s Culinary Promenade will have a special charitable note, supporting the Junaki 3. nadstropja association, which helps children with cancer and their families. From 17:00 to 21:00, Piran scouts from Rod Sergeja Mašere will be making charity pancakes, joined by many familiar faces: three-Michelin-starred chef Ana Roš, actress Zala Djurić, TV presenter Tara Zupančič, MasterChef winner Sara Rutar, and local chefs Filip Matjaž from COB and Kristian Zule from Stara gostilna. By purchasing pancakes, visitors will help children and their families during the most difficult moments in life.
In addition to pancakes, the promenade will offer various snacks, burgers, pizzas, waffles, freshly fried miške and Basque cheesecake. The Fit Akademija food truck by influencer Patricija Pangeršič will prepare dishes based on healthy principles. For refreshment, visitors will be able to choose from local wines, cocktails, spritzes, iced teas, lemonades and matcha drinks.
The event is organised by the Portorož Tourist Board with the support of the Municipality of Piran, Avditorij Portorož – Portorose and JP Okolje Piran. In a relaxed summer atmosphere, the event will bring together cuisine, socialising and charity into a complete seaside experience.
