Summer Museum Night in Piran will take place on Saturday, 20 June 2026. Museums and galleries will open their doors free of charge and offer a diverse evening programme along with guided tours.
The main events in Piran will take place at the following locations:
- Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum Piran: Evening opening and special programmes in the main museum and its branches.
- Italian Community Giuseppe Tartini Piran: At 8 pm, hosting a Summer Museum Night event featuring an exhibition by Karin Kocič.
- Piran Coastal Galleries (Piran City Gallery): Exhibition spaces will remain open until 10 pm.
For Summer Museum Night, all exhibition venues of the Coastal Galleries Piran will also be open from 6 pm to 10 pm on Saturday, 20 June. On this occasion, the group exhibition Monsters Are People at Loža Gallery in Koper has been extended until 21 June. At Herman Pečarič Gallery in Piran, visitors can view the commemorative exhibition Sakan and Piran, dedicated to the internationally acclaimed designer Dragan Sakan, who had a special connection with Piran.
