The Maritime Museum “Sergej Mašera” Piran invites you to the opening of the temporary exhibition Shirt, coat, kamižot… From Festive Attire to Costume, prepared in cooperation with expert Aljoša Pucer.
The exhibition offers an insight into festive clothing and its transformation into costume, bringing visitors closer to the clothing and cultural heritage of Slovenian Istria.
The opening will also feature a screening of the short docu-drama Zanigrad from 1961, which depicts life in the countryside of Slovenian Istria. The event will be enriched by a musical performance by the group Šavrinke.
