On 29 July 2026 at 6 p.m., the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park will host a Salt-Making Gathering dedicated to exchanging knowledge, bringing together different perspectives and deepening the understanding of salt-making as an important part of cultural heritage. The programme includes a guided tour of the salt pans, where visitors will learn about traditional salt-production methods, followed by a talk on the heritagisation of salt-making and its significance for preserving and understanding this unique cultural landscape.
