The exhibition Grey Mullet in the Nets – Traditional Grey Mullet Fishing and Watercolours of Adriatic Fish opened on 16 June 2026 at the Monfort exhibition space in Portorož, Obala 8.
The exhibition, curated by Nadja Terčon and Veronika Bjelica, in collaboration with Vinko Oblak, presents the tradition of grey mullet fishing in the Gulf of Piran and the different types of fishing nets. The exhibition also features watercolours by Luigi Divari from Venice, the result of decades of research into the history of fishing in the Adriatic.
The exhibition will be on view until 18 September 2026.
