Milan Rijavec: Silent Faces of the Past

Silent Faces of the Past is a posthumous exhibition of watercolours by academic painter Milan Rijavec, dedicated to portraiture and memory. The exhibited works portray faces identified by the nicknames of the people depicted and, through the watercolour technique, reflect on the passage of time, memories and the presence of the past.

Rijavec devoted his life to artistic creation and teaching. The exhibition invites visitors to quietly reflect on people, time and the traces that remain behind us.

The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours of the box office and during events at Avditorij Portorož.
