The exhibition IRWIN: Photographic Work presents a selection of photographs created over four decades of activity by one of the most important Slovenian art collectives on the international contemporary art scene. The photographs appear both as documents of artistic interventions, performances and temporary installations, as well as independent works of art.
The exhibition reveals how the IRWIN group uses photography as a means of documentation, transformation and conceptual reflection, placing it within broader symbolic and political contexts. It invites visitors to reflect on how the meanings of images change, are redistributed and continually reinterpreted.
The exhibition was curated by Hana Čeferin and developed in collaboration with MGML – Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana, the City Museum of Ljubljana and the Projekt Atol Institute.
The exhibition will open on 6 November 2026 at 6:00 PM.
Organizer: Piran Coastal Galleries
