The Culinary promenade is a seaside event in Portorož that brings together excellent cuisine, local flavours, music, and a relaxed summer atmosphere.
On Saturday, 11 July 2026, from 05:00 pm to 01:00 am, the Square of the Overseas Brigades in Portorož will come alive with culinary experiences.
Visitors will enjoy a varied selection of food and drinks, combining local flavours, seafood specialities, modern culinary approaches, and sweet treats for all generations.
At 6:00 pm, Teater Cizamo will entertain the youngest visitors with a children’s performance, adding a touch of theatrical magic to the Culinary Promenade. The children’s programme will be further enriched by free face painting with Irena Dolinšek, creating playful, colourful and unforgettable moments for the youngest visitors.
A DJ will provide the perfect atmosphere throughout the evening, accompanying the seaside culinary experience with summer rhythms.
The Culinary promenade is more than just a gastronomic event – it is an opportunity to socialise, discover local flavours, and create unforgettable summer memories by the sea.

Charity pancakes
A special highlight of this year’s event will be charity pancakes, available from 05:00 pm to 09:00 pm. They will be prepared by the Piran scouts and the Anbot association, joined by Michelin-starred chef Filip Matjaž from COB restaurant, actress Zala Djurić, renowned Piran chef Kristian Zule from Stara Gostilna, and TV presenter Tara Zupančič.
The funds raised will be donated to the Junaki 3. nadstropja association.
