Every year, at least one day is dedicated to caring for the Slovenian coast. Participants put on their gloves, take their bags and set out together to clean various locations by the sea.
Clean Coast is not only a clean-up campaign, but also a day of connection, cooperation and environmental responsibility. Children, parents, friends, associations, schools, companies and individuals join forces to show that caring for the sea is everyone’s responsibility.
One campaign may not save the world, but it can make an important contribution to raising awareness, encouraging responsible behaviour and keeping the coast cleaner for residents, visitors and future generations.
In 2026, the 17th Clean Coast will take place, continuing a tradition that has connected people along the entire Slovenian coast for many years. The event will be held on Saturday, 19 September 2026, at various locations along the Slovenian coast. The clean-up will take place from 10:00 to 12:30, followed by socialising, workshops and refreshments in Strunjan from 13:00 to 15:00.
Individuals or groups, such as families, schools, associations or companies, can register. All additional information will be sent to registered participants by email a few days before the event.
Every helping hand counts.
