From 22 May to 23 August 2026, Piran City Gallery will host a major retrospective exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Bernhard Rüdiger titled Failed Again (The Seventh Trumpet). The exhibition opening will take place on Friday, 22 May 2026, at 7 pm.
The exhibition presents the development of the artist’s creative journey between 1985 and 2025 through sculptures, installations, drawings, paintings, sound projections, film, and other works. His artistic expression explores the relationship between art, society, and contemporary history, raising questions about the perception of art in times of global social and political upheaval.
Bernhard Rüdiger’s works engage visitors through sound, vibrations, and spatial experience, placing them in an active role in experiencing art.
The exhibition is curated by Mara Ambrožič Verderber and Matic Bukovac.
