Inspired by the works of Srečko Kosovel
The Sun Has a Crown is a sensitive and playful theatre performance about young Srečko, who is searching in the forest for his runaway cat Feliks. Along the way, he is accompanied by the Sun, encounters unusual beings and faces questions about loneliness, life, death and the magic of everyday life.
The performance combines humorous situations with quotations from different periods of Kosovel’s work, bringing his poetry closer to younger audiences as well. The story encourages curiosity, sensitivity and trust in one’s own imagination. It is intended for children aged 5 and over and adults.
Author and director: Filip Mramor
The performance will be in Slovenian.
