On 4 July 2026, the Amphitheatre of Avditorij Portorož will host the jubilee 45th edition of the Melodies of the Sea and Sun Festival – one of Slovenia’s most recognisable music festivals, which has been bringing together music, culture and an unforgettable summer atmosphere by the sea for decades.
The festival stage will feature 14 performers with new competing songs, all vying for the favour of the expert jury, radio stations and the audience. The evening will be marked by fresh melodies, excellent performances and the anticipation of which song will become the new song of the summer.
The special guest of the evening will be the acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Bungaro, a multiple participant and award-winner at the Sanremo Festival, who will further enrich the jubilee festival programme with his music.
The Melodies of the Sea and Sun Festival remains an important part of Portorož’s cultural identity and an essential introduction to the summer music season. You are invited to join an evening of new songs, well-known voices, summer energy and musical moments that will remain in your memory.
