KED Folk Slovenija is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. It was founded in Piran as the cultural association Folk Slovenija, and is therefore returning to Piran for its anniversary with a celebratory concert. The association’s members, groups and individual performers rank among the finest interpreters of folk music from the Slovenian ethnic territory. They organise concerts, workshops, discussions and symposia with the aim of promoting Slovenian folk musical heritage and bringing it closer to the wider public.
