At 8 PM, you are also invited to an evening concert at the Tartini Theatre Piran, featuring Slovenian folk songs and tunes performed by Dečve, Vruja, Cintare, Ljoba Jenče, Zingelci Rezjanab Sasiedi, Rožančevi Fantjiči, Tomaž Podobnikar and Bharath Ranganathan.
KED Folk Slovenija is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. It was founded in Piran as the Folk Slovenija cultural association and is therefore returning to Piran for its anniversary with a celebratory concert. The association’s members, ensembles and individual performers rank among the finest interpreters of folk music from the Slovenian ethnic territory. They organise concerts, workshops, discussions and symposia with the aim of promoting Slovenian folk musical heritage and bringing it closer to the wider public.
