Tastes of the Mediterranean in nature
Above the Sečovlje Salt Pans, a relaxed experience awaits you in an olive grove, where local flavours, nature and Mediterranean atmosphere come together. The experience begins with a short guided introduction to award-winning organic olive oil and a tasting of three different oils, followed by a picnic among the olive trees with a view of the salt pans. If you wish, you can also explore the olive groves on your own.
You will receive a blanket and a picnic basket with selected delicacies – from homemade tapenades and caprese salad to fresh homemade bread and juice. Create your own peaceful corner in the olive grove and taste local products with a beautiful view. The experience is also suitable for families with children, offering relaxed time in nature. If you would like to complement your picnic with a glass of wine, you can buy a chilled bottle in the shop and take it with you among the olive trees.
