Izolana – a treasure trove of maritime secrets!

Are you ready for a journey through the history of Izola?

At Izolana, you will discover the rich history of Izola in a modern and engaging way—from the time when it was still an island to the era of fishing and the fish-processing industry. Immerse yourself in stories told through photographs and video materials, explore ship models, view a 3D model showing Izola past and present, interact with the Parenzana map, set sail like a real fisherman, learn fishing knots, and try your hand at digital fish-catching.

OPENING HOURS:

Wednesday to Saturday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

PRICES:

  • Adults – €7.00
  • Children (7–18 years), seniors, pupils and students – €4.00
  • Children under 7, children with special needs, tourist guides, people with disabilities, and journalists with ID – free of charge

Guided tours of Izolana are also available for larger groups upon prior arrangement.
