Experience the unique natural heritage of Ankaran on a relaxed and interpretative walk among the sea, meadows, and fascinating natural features.
The meeting point is at TIC Ankaran, from where we set off together from the town center towards the Park of Remembrance. The path continues to the educational wooden boardwalk, where we will learn about the characteristics of the salt meadow – a valuable and rare coastal ecosystem. A walk along the Bay of St. Catherine offers beautiful views and an opportunity to observe plants and birds.
Along the way, we make a short stop at the outdoor fitness area, then continue to one of the most fascinating natural phenomena in the area – the Shell Cemetery. Here, we will discover how it was formed and why it is important from the perspective of natural heritage.
After a short break, we return to the center of Ankaran, where we conclude the tour enriched with new insights and a pleasant nature experience.
