More on this trip

We  meet at the parking place in Sečovlje - in front of the former mine and the Parenzana station. The trip starts on a level track and is pretty easy going. We cross the border. The path on the way to Grožnjan goes uphill and once there we  have a break to enjoy this town of artists as well as the views of the Mirna river valley. We continue our journey on a gentle downhill path through tunnels and viaducts on the way to Livade. We have take a break in Livade where we grab a bite to eat. We continue past Motovun and Vižinad. Our path ends in Poreč where we embark on a boat taking us to Umag. We have a seafood picnic on the boat with an entertainment programme. A raffle follows where you can win a weekend package for two in Portorož. Once we arrive in Umag we board a bus taking us back to where we started.

If you are worried about the length of the cycling path we also offer an opportunity to begin your journey in Grožnjan once everyone has arrived.
