Wine cellar
Vinakoper is the largest wine cellar in Slovenian Istria, located at Šmarska cesta 1 in Koper, cultivating nearly 600 hectares of vineyards. Established in 1947, the winery is known for its variety of local and international wine varieties, including Refošk, Malvasia, Yellow Muscat, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Shiraz. Visitors can explore the House of Refošk, where guided wine tastings, cellar tours, and the purchase of selected wines and local delicacies – such as Istrian cheeses, truffles, and olive oil – are available. Tastings are held in a dedicated space suitable for individuals and small groups, with prior booking recommended. The cellar is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 19:00, Saturday from 8:00 to 13:00, and closed on Sundays.

Guided tours with tasting

- Availability: Year-round (closed on Sundays and public holidays)
- Groups: Minimum 10 people, advance reservation required

The wine boutique delights with a selection of authentic local products.
Elegant and refined, the boutique brings together the finest flavours of Istria in one place. It is designed for everyone who appreciates culinary stories and authentic tastes.
A dedicated tasting corner is available for self-guided tastings for up to 10 people. Tastings take place exclusively in the boutique and do not include a cellar tour. Most Vinakoper wines are available through modern wine dispensers, with no prior reservation required (a tasting voucher must be purchased during opening hours).

Within the elegant setting of the Vinakoper cellar lies KeBon – a space dedicated to culinary creativity, genuine togetherness, and exceptional wine experiences. Here, hospitality is a way of life – with a capital H and an even bigger heart.
KeBon offers a variety of cooking classes and team-building workshops, where cooking becomes a shared experience. Immerse yourself in the aromas and flavours of Istria – from truffles and fresh seafood delicacies to traditional Istrian pasta – each workshop is a new culinary adventure. Workshops are available for groups or individuals and are suitable for both adults and children. There is plenty of creativity, fun, and opportunity for connection for everyone.
