San Simon, or rather the Simonov zaliv bay, is the most popular beach in Izola, attracting numerous bathers throughout the summer. The beach boasts a sandy bay, the remains of a Roman villa, a beach-volley court and the last waterslide on the Slovenian coast. Green meadows, pine trees and acacias that provide protection from the sun surround the bathing area. There is also a multi-purpose sports court for those who prefer to spend their leisure time actively.

The nearest parking lot is right by the beach. Lifeguards patrol the beach. There is a snack bar and an ice-cream bar on the beach. Sunshade and sun-lounger rental. Water Sports Centre.

The beach is suitable for children, families, active bathers and youth.
