The Sparkling Wine Festival will once again bring together top sparkling wine producers and renowned champagne houses. On 26 December 2025, the elegant Crystal Hall of the Kempinski Palace Portorož will offer a unique opportunity to taste the finest sparkling wines from Slovenian, Croatian, Italian and French cellars.
Visitors will be able to choose from an array of white, red, and rosé sparkling wines crafted using the traditional or charmat method. For a truly elevated experience, the festival will also feature authentic Champagne from the famous French region—perfect for a glamorous pre-New Year’s evening festivities.
Tickets will be available at the beginning of December 2025.

Month of Sparkling wine
This December, Portorož and Piran will sparkle all month long as the Month of Sparkling Wine begins on December 1st. Selected local restaurants will offer special tasting menus paired with sparkling wines.
Visitors will be able to indulge in gourmet experiences accompanied by carefully selected bubbles in the following restaurants
