As part of the Saltworkers’ Festival, the recreational Saltworkers’ Run will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Piran – one of the most beautiful spring runs by the sea. The event combines physical activity, socializing, and the unique coastal setting shaped by a rich salt-making heritage.
The start and finish will be at Tartini Square. The route is flat, approximately 10 km long, and runs through Piran and Portorož. The run is non-competitive and suitable for both recreational and more experienced runners. Participation is limited to 300 runners.
In addition to the run, a supporting program will be organized:
– Children’s run “up and down Piran” (10:15)
– Guided walk through Piran (10:20)
– Award ceremony (11:15)
