As part of the Saltworkers’ Festival, the Recreational Saltworkers’ run will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and is intended for all generations. The event continues the tradition of bringing people together through movement in an area historically marked by salt production and life by the sea. The route runs through the area of Piran, with both the start and finish in town, allowing participants to experience not only physical activity but also the atmosphere of the old town center.
The run is non-competitive and suitable for recreational runners as well as families. A children’s run and a guided walk around Piran will also be organized.
Start of the run: 10:00 AM
Registration: Tartini Square between 8:30 and 9:30 AM on the day of the event
