Event: Roses and Rosé 2025 | Portorož & Piran

Discover the magic of roses and rosé wines at a unique event in the Rose Garden, where blooming elegance will be in full display. We invite you to embrace the spirit of spring — wear your favorite spring creations, bold hats, and accessories with floral patterns.

On May 24, 2025, the Rose Garden in Portorož will transform into an elegant rose “lounge”, where visitors can enjoy premium rosé wines and sparkling wines accompanied by music. The event Roses & Rosé will offer plenty of good music, refined cuisine, and a very special guest star. This year, the Mayor of the Municipality of Piran, Mr. Andrej Korenika, will plant the Portorož Rose in the Garden of Fame.

The mayor of the twin town Castel Goffredo, Alfredo Posenato, will also join him. The event will also be attended by the mayor of Bled, Anton Mežan, who, as part of the cooperation between the two municipalities in the project PIRAN x BLED – Salt for the Spruce, will receive the Portorož Rose as a gift.

Visitors will have the opportunity to taste still and sparkling rosé wines from 12 wineries of the Primorska wine region. Rosés are known as delicate and light wines, yet they often surprise with complex notes, making them a refreshing summer aperitif or an excellent companion to many dishes. The premium rosés will be accompanied by selected Istrian snacks, and for dessert, guests can enjoy the local specialty Š’torta and fresh fruit drinks flavored with roses.

Guests will also have the chance to purchase the highly sought-after Portorož Rose sapling, which will brighten their gardens with its glowing orange blossoms. The musical backdrop for wine tasting will be provided by Nuška Drašček and Uroš Perić & Maja Keuc – Amaya.
