Coastal Galleries Piran – 50 Years of Contemporary Art
Posters, Catalogues, Invitations, Audio-Video Documents
A rich selection of documentary and archival materials is on display, including posters, exhibition catalogues, leaflets, invitations, publications, and audio-video recordings. The core of the exhibition consists of posters that, over the decades, accompanied exhibitions by national and international artists, while reflecting the visual and graphic spirit of different periods.
The exhibition is accompanied by a public programme taking place in January and February 2026. The programme includes specialist guided tours of the exhibition, meetings with guests whose work has marked or followed the development of the Coastal Galleries Piran, as well as educational workshops for children during the school holidays. The talks will be recorded with the aim of creating a memory archive intended for research and study purposes.
