Histria cartographica: Pietro Coppo – exhibition and symposium

You are warmly invited to the opening of the Histria cartographica Pietro Coppo exhibition at Tartini House in Piran on Tuesday, 18 November, at 6:00 PM.

The exhibition will temporarily move to Izola (Manzioli Palace) on Thursday, 20 November, and will return to Piran on Monday, where it will remain on view until 14 December 2025.

Visitors will be able to admire maps depicting the Istrian peninsula from the 16th to the 19th century, from the collections of the Centre for Historical Research Rovinj, with a special focus on the oldest known map of Istria by Pietro Coppo, part of the Piran Codex De summa totius orbis.

We look forward to welcoming you!
