Breda Biščak is a literary translator and Jungian analyst. She has translated works by Virginia Woolf, Vladimir Nabokov, John Williams, Hanif Kureishi, Oliver Sacks, and others. For her translation of the novel Augustus by John Williams, she received the Sovre Award.
She has loved libraries since childhood and has especially fond memories of her first library in Piran. She also conducts the training program “Connections in Words” for librarians, combining knowledge of literature, moderation, and Jungian psychology.
