After last year’s unforgettable night, the biggest carnival event on the coast returns with a new edition that brings one of the leading creators of contemporary electronic music to Portorož. This year, the former salt warehouse will be taken over by Benny Benassi, a pioneer of electro house whose groundbreaking early-2000s sound shaped dance floors worldwide and laid the foundation for a genre that still dominates major stages today.
Propelled into the spotlight by the iconic hit Satisfaction, Benassi has, over two decades, crafted a distinctive sonic identity, collaborated with artists such as Chris Brown, Skrillex and Gary Go, and remained a key act at festivals from Coachella and Tomorrowland to Ultra Music Festival. His music has influenced generations of producers.
Magazin Grando will once again come alive in the spirit of Carnival and Valentine’s Day, transforming into a centre of dance, masks and club culture.
And that’s not all — several international acts will join him, to be revealed soon.
