Piran offers a new experience that combines art, history, and local stories into a truly unique journey.
Experience Piran through the eyes of art, history, and creativity — the same spirit that has shaped its stone streets and facades for centuries. A guided tour with an experienced local guide takes you beyond the usual routes — into spaces normally closed to the public and into stories known only to locals.
Participants of this experience will visit five carefully selected interiors, including the Tartini Theatre with its beautiful Art Nouveau frescoes, and discover hidden artworks such as Spacal’s mosaic, Lenassi’s creations, and other treasures preserved in the old town center.
The experience also offers insight into how the town of Piran once commissioned works from great masters like Domenico Tintoretto and Vittore Carpaccio, how it became a city of music and an attractive setting for filmmakers. Along the way, you’ll also meet contemporary artists who continue to shape Piran’s vibrant artistic pulse today.
