Božidar Jakac Gallery

In the picturesque Istrian village of Padna, you’ll find the Božidar Jakac Gallery, dedicated to one of Slovenia’s most renowned painters and printmakers. The gallery displays his drawings, prints, and personal items from Jakac’s homestead, including the chair he used while painting. Visitors are welcomed by verses from Tone Pavček, engraved on a marble plaque.
Housed in the former Italian school, the gallery is open by prior arrangement through the tourist information center.
