Tour of Slovenia 2025 starts in Piran!

On 4 June, the picturesque town of Piran will be transformed into a sports spectacle - the 30th Tour of Slovenia will start here! With a view of the blue sea and the magical backdrop of the old town, the first stage will start from Piran and will lead all the way to Škofljica. Come and greet the world's best cyclists up close, feel the pulse of the race and indulge in the fan atmosphere that only Slovenian Istria can conjure up.

The Tour of Slovenia has been delighting cycling and nature enthusiasts for more than three decades. It is the biggest cycling event in Slovenia, bringing the best teams to the roads every year, combining sport, tourism and the genuine enthusiasm of locals and visitors along the route.

This year, the action will be broadcast live on Eurosport, bringing the colours of Slovenia to more than 130 countries, with spectacular aerial shots showing why our country is one of the most desirable destinations for active adventures.

This year the race will take place between 4th and 8th June, but the first and most inspiring moment happens in Piran - don't miss it!
