Within a few kilometres in any direction you can discover beautiful landscapes and astonishing cultural heritage. The many vantage points are
especially attractive. You can enjoy a
view of the neighbouring bays in Slovenia, Croatia and Italy, and the Gulf of
Trieste framed by the peaks of the Alps.

the unforgettable Piran. You can continue along
the coast or choose a picturesque road and in a short while reach Strunjan Nature Park. A few minutes’ drive
south of Portorož you enter the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park. Only a minute more and you will find yourself in Istrian villages in the midst of
vineyards and hillside olive groves.
