YouSea Institute is a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in Seča near Portorož, dedicated to preserving the biodiversity of the Slovenian sea and promoting the sustainable development of marine resources.

Its mission includes research, education, and raising public awareness about the importance of preserving marine ecosystems and promoting a responsible approach to nature.

One of the key projects of the institute is the Sea Oasis Piran – an innovative underwater structure aimed at developing sustainable multi-trophic aquaculture and protecting marine habitats.

In addition, the institute develops educational programs, artistic projects, and sustainable tourism, involving the community in the active preservation of the sea.
