Tartufi: Search & Cooking & Tasting

Our truffle hunter Sara and her dog Lisa will open the door to the secret world of truffles. Together we will explore the hidden corners of the forest in order to find this fragrant tuber.

After the successful hunt we will become chefs and cook fuži with truffles according to old family recipes. We’ll eat what we’ll cook. This excellent food will be accompanied by a glass of wine from a local winemaker and we’ll also be able to enjoy beauties of Slovenian Istria.

The trip includes

  • truffle hunting,
  • tasting of spread and cheese with truffles,
  • a coupon for cheaper purchases of products with truffles: spreads, cheese, oil and honey,
  • selected wine of top local winers,
  • soft drinks,

  • a meal of fuži with truffles,
  • cooking of fuži with truffles.

Duration: half-day tour

Meeting point and time will be announced after a full payment.

The excursion is guided in Slovenian, English or Italian. For other languages an additional fee of € 100 / group.

An easy trip, no special equipment is required, only weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.
