Jani will explain you more about the olive tree, olive grove, olive oil and work
in the grove in sense of preserving species diversity and reducing the footprint
in the environment. Furthermore you will learn the basic concepts in the field
of ecology in a simple way.
Also, you
will learn about the process of determining the quality of olive oil. By
tasting, you will get to know the characteristics of the samples by yourself
and learn about the properties of extra virgin olive oil. During tasting, home-made
food will be offered: olives from salted water, olive spread, eggplant
(aubergine) in olive oil, bread and herbal drink (syrup or tea).
