It is with great pleasure that we announce the return of the traditional Malvasia festival to the Hotel Slovenia in Portoroz!

March will be marked by a celebration of the best-known type of Istrian white wine - malvasia. The Association of Winegrowers of Slovenian Istria will hold the 25th annual Malvazija Festival. Over those two days visitors will get a chance to taste malvazija wines made by several winemakers from Slovenian Istria, the Brda and Karst region, the Vipavska dolina valley as well as from Croatian Istria and Italy. The festival is accompanied by specialist and culinary workshops and a round table discussion.
