On Saturday, November 30, Portorož and Piran will come alive as festive lights are illuminated, marking the start of the Christmas and New Year market in the park infront of the Kempinski Palace Portorož Hotel.

Local vendors will welcome you at beautifully decorated stands from 3:00 pm, setting the stage for an enchanting afternoon. The program kicks off at 4:20 pm with a captivating performance by Lea Sirk and her band. The Mayor of the Municipality of Piran will share festive greetings, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas lights and the much-anticipated arrival of St. Nicholas. To top it all off, Lea Sirk and her band will return for another unforgettable performance.

At 6:00 pm, we warmly invite you to the main square in Portorož (Trg prekomorskih brigad), where the talented street artists Cizamo will lead us with torches to the ex salt warehouse Grando. The evening continues with the opening of the skating rink, featuring a stunning performance by skating artists and free skating until 8:30 pm.
