Similar to Grando, the Monfort warehouse was also a salt storage facility dating from the first half of the 19th century.
From a historical point of view, these warehouses were important for salt makers, since they would store their yearly harvest at the end of the salt collecting season.
It is situated close to Grando and has been repurposed to serve as a venue for displaying the Maritime Museum's art collections, hosting numerous modern art exhibitions, and facilitating a variety of local and international events.
The Monfort warehouse can accommodate up to 200 attendees.
