Tartini’s Birth House

A new memorial room has been arranged in the house in which Tartini was born where valuable exhibits, such as the musician's violin, his death mask and his letters are on display. Make sure you don’t miss out on the Vedute Hall which features many interesting wall paintings.
On the 250th anniversary of the death of violinist, composer and music theorist Giuseppe Tartini, the renovated Casa Tartini - Tartini House has opened its doors. A new museum path has been set up in it, which acquaints the visitor with the life of the famous citizen of Piran and his birth house. The partial renovation of the house and the installation of the path was made possible by the Cultural Tourism project in the name of Giuseppe Tartini - tARTtini, within the INTERREG VA Italia-Slovenia program.
