In the southwestern part of Slovenia stretches a region called the Karst. It is a land of rare beauty, with hidden underground waters and caves, a special climate and scarce vegetation.
And right here, in the picturesque village of Lipica, for more than 400 years, beautiful white horses called Lipizzaners have been bred. A local guide will take visitors on a guided tour through the stables, pointing out the different stages of breeding and training these noble animals. A special feature is a performance of star Lipizzaner studs showing their excellence in what they have learnt in their training.
