Convention Centre Auditorium Portorož is much more than just a centre offering facilities and technical services. Our venue can contribute atmosphere and the charm of fine to your event. Tartini Theatre, Piran (1909 - 1910) presents a fine example of a fin-de-siecle Gesamtkunstwerk, or complete work of art, created in mixed Historicist and Secession styles.
Venue meets all the needs for organising a range of events, conferences, symposia, seminars, companies presentation, anniversary events, concerts and receptions. Main hall the largest conference room , seating capacity 500, 4 meeting rooms with capacity of 20 up to 100 people, amphitheatre-open air theatre capacity of 1796 seats, Tartini theatre 300 seats and the Renaissance cloister of the Minorite monastery (for chamber performances) capacity of 250 seats. A large flat space serves as main entrance, registration and hospitality desk and exhibition area. Conference centre features interpreter booths for simultaneous translation and state of the art audio-visual equipment. The facilities have air conditioning and heating systems and their thermostatic control.
Convention Centre Auditorium is within walking distance (max. 10 minutes) of hotels, shops and restaurants. The catering trade at Portorož offers the visitors a great choice and good quality to please the taste as well as the curiosity of tourist in the town area, the sea-sport fans or just visitors.
Three international airports provide easy access by plane to Portorož:
- Ljubljana - Brnik (SI): 140 km
- Trieste - Ronchi (Italy): 75 km
- Venezia- Marco Polo (Italy): 194 km
